Mill City Farmers Market

For our July 4th family-style outing we headed downtown to the farmers market. We have been there before but Mecca, the monkey, let us know that Vera, the goat, and her baby would be there. Mecca knows that I have an affinity for the goatsers.

It was a pretty nice day for the market, a little humid, but better than sitting inside. The Goose did a great job for being in such a big crowd and managed a full 90 minutes of interraction with goats, chickens and puppies before starting to melt down.

We ended up having a lunch of organic beef hot dogs, beef tongue tacos and Arnie Palmers. The guac on the tacos was especially fresh and yummy.Next time I need to remember to bring more $$$ so that I can pick up some protien and veg to bring home and cook.

I need a nap, and then tonight...homemade ravioli!
